Food Quality Assurance Manager Assistant


Review and maintain food safety HACCP plans including identifying food safety hazards, preventive measures and establishing corrective actions. Implement Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Procedures. Provide effective guidance to employees and management. Verifies food safety reports and procedures. Trains staff on food safety, HACCP, allergen control, GMPs and proper food handling procedures. Conducts internal audits which verify food safety processes are in place and company and regulatory standards are met. Conducts quality laboratory testing and maintains laboratory equipment and supplies. Assists in product development and implementation of new product lines and equipment.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Quality Assurance or Food Science from an U.S. or accredited foreign college.  Background in food safety. HACCP certification preferred. Send resume to:   Vigo Importing Co. Inc.
