The way in which it is produced has remained unchanged overtime. Vinegar is made when alcohol and oxygen are converted into acetic acid and water through a process known as fermentation. An acetic acid bacterium is introduced into the liquid which ideally has an alcohol level between 10% and 13%. Once introduced, the fermentation process begins. Over time, tastes meld and color develops resulting in tangy, pungent vinegar. Use our Vigo Red Wine Flavored for salads, marinades, sauces and all your cooking needs.
